Benet Academy won the last time they faced Carmel and things went their way on Friday too. The Benet Academy Redwings simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Carmel Corsairs 54-26. The Redwings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.

Benet Academy's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-4. As for Carmel, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Benet Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rich Township at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Rich Township will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Benet Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carmel, they and Lake Zurich will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
