Soccer Recap: Conroe Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cleveland on Monday, Conroe came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the College Park Cavaliers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against College Park this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in January.

Conroe's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-2. As for College Park, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Conroe will face off against rival New Caney at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, College Park is set to take on their familiar foe Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
