Basketball Recap: Washington School for the Deaf Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Washington School for the Deaf won the last time they faced Firm Foundation Christian, and Kadyn Carver did his part to make sure it happened again. The Washington School for the Deaf Terriers simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Firm Foundation Christian Eagles 55-9 thanks in part to Carver, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Another player making a difference was La'Juan Malone, who posted two points and ten steals. Those ten steals gave him a new career-high.

Washington School for the Deaf's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.

Washington School for the Deaf didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-22 defeat against Oklahoma School for the Deaf on the 17th. As for Firm Foundation Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Three Rivers Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
