Basketball Recap: Tanner Greiner's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Milford Central over Windham-Ashland-Jewett

Milford Central was the 66-62 winner over Windham-Ashland-Jewett when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Milford Central Wildcats fell 54-45 to the Windham-Ashland-Jewett Warriors on Monday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tanner Greiner, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of RJ Lindsay, who scored 13 points.

Milford Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Windham-Ashland-Jewett, the win snapped their losing streak at 12 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-7 record.

Milford Central has already played their next match (against Schenevus Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Windham-Ashland-Jewett won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Roxbury Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
