Soccer Recap: East Lansing Makes It Four in a Row at Home

East Lansing took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Okemos, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans never let Wolves get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but East Lansing were the better team in the second half.

East Lansing pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Okemos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-2 record this season.
