Baseball Recap: Andover Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Andover can now relate to. They lost 15-2 to the Champlin Park Rebels on Wednesday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Huskies, who until this contest were averaging 3.85 runs allowed.

Andover saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Myers, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Andover's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Champlin Park, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

As of now, neither Andover nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
