Basketball Recap: Hansen Comes Up Short

Hansen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Richfield Tigers. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 55-29.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Richfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jace Fuchs, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Iaan Lopez was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 12 points and seven boards.

Hansen's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Richfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-14 record this season.

Hansen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-45 defeat against Camas County on the 24th. As for Richfield, they have also already played their next match, a 65-38 loss against Dietrich on the 19th.
