Softball Recap: Lynbrook Comes Up Short

Lynbrook lost to Cupertino back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings lost 16-6 to the Pioneers. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calia Lim made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Lee, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Lynbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Cupertino, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-15.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lynbrook will challenge rival Santa Clara at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cupertino is set to face off against their familiar foe Harker at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
