After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coeur d'Alene, Lakeland was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Moscow Bears as they made off with a 16-5 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Lakeland got a massive performance out of Delilah ?Dizzy? Zimmerman, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. That's the most RBI Zimmerman has posted since back in March. Raygen Dutton was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Lakeland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Lakeland's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Moscow, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lakeland beat the Bears by a score of 14-3 later that day.
