Basketball Recap: Greenville Classical Academy Lions vs. Temple Christian Academy Warriors
The Greenville Classical Academy Lions lost against the Temple Christian Academy Warriors last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Greenville Classical Academy fell 64-52 to the Warriors. Greenville Classical Academy has struggled against the Warriors recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Jeramy Trangmar, who scored 26 points along with eight assists and six rebounds for Temple Christian Academy. That makes it three consecutive games in which Trangmar has scored at least a third of Temple Christian Academy's points. Luke Passetti was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Greenville Classical Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-9. As for Temple Christian Academy, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 21-3.
Greenville Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Temple Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Anderson Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Warriors are ranked 105th).
