Preview: Burbank Bulldogs vs. Arcadia Apaches
Two dominant guards in Odartey Blankson and Jordan Dollar are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Burbank Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Arcadia Apaches at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Burbank is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
Burbank pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 62-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Glendale. While losing is never fun, Burbank can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 883rd, while Glendale is ranked 369th).
Meanwhile, Arcadia didn't have too much trouble with Burroughs at home on Tuesday as they won 70-54.
Burbank has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Arcadia, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.
