Basketball Recap: San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Coast Union last Tuesday, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy came back down to earth. The San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies were beaten by the Santa Maria Saints 82-39 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 991st, while the Saints are ranked 416th).

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Santa Maria, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Orcutt Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Santa Maria and Lindsay will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
