Volleyball Recap: Danville Triumphs

Edgewood typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Danville proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Elyse Bullen, who had four digs and three aces. What's more, she posted two assists, the most she's had since back in August of 2024.

Cora Emmons and Reyanna Dryer certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Emmons had ten digs, while Dryer had four digs and one assist.

Danville's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Edgewood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-14.

Danville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Northview on the 11th. As for Edgewood, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Silver Creek on the 11th.
