Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fallbrook). Everything went their way against the Oceanside Pirates on Thursday as they made off with a 17-0 win. With that victory, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Mason Mendoza looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Camden Hoff was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-5. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Evan Thomas was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Fallbrook kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive contests.
