Soccer Game Preview: Haltom vs. South Grand Prairie

Haltom hasn't had much luck against South Grand Prairie recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Haltom Buffalos will be playing in front of their home fans against the South Grand Prairie Warriors at 8:00 p.m.

Haltom took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Bowie 4-1. The matchup marked the Buffalos' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, while South Grand Prairie scored more goals than they have all season, the final result was a bit underwhelming. They and Martin finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Friday. The result was nothing new for South Grand Prairie as the squad hasn't won a game since January 16th.

Haltom's win bumped their record up to 4-2-4. South Grand Prairie's draw gives them a new season record of 2-5-3.

Haltom suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to South Grand Prairie when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Haltom avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
