GlenOak is 8-2 against Lake since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Blue Streaks at 6:45 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

GlenOak lost 3-0 to Marlington on Wednesday.

While GlenOak ultimately came up short, they really made Marlington work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 27-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Lake came up short against Perry on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Perry scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.

GlenOak will have to keep a close watch on Sydney Hedrick and Michaela Slayman, a pair of players who had a big impact on Lake's prior game. Hedrick had 18 assists and five digs, while Slayman had ten assists and three digs.

Lake's defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9. As for GlenOak, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
