Softball Game Preview: Searsport Vikings vs. Lee Academy Pandas

The Searsport Vikings will face off against the Lee Academy Pandas at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Searsport has now lost 13 straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 29.

Searsport lost 18-11 to Deer Isle-Stonington on Wednesday. Even if the Vikings couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, Lee Academy came up short against Mattanawcook on Wednesday, falling 20-2. The Pandas haven't had much luck with the Lynx recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Searsport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lee Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
