Shonto Prep has no trouble against Grand Canyon

The Shonto Prep Grizzlies's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They strolled past Grand Canyon with points to spare, taking the game 45-26. The win was just what Shonto Prep needed coming off of a 69-47 defeat in their prior matchup.
Despite the loss, Grand Canyon saw an underclassman step up: Arron Alonzo scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Cristo Ibarra was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 3 steals.
Shonto Prep's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Grand Canyon, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-4.
Shonto Prep will face off against Pinon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grand Canyon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Many Farms at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Many Farms knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Grand Canyon likes a good challenge.
