Idalou had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against Compass Academy on Thursday as they made off with a 22-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Idalou is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Compass Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.
