Softball Game Preview: Union Grove Broncos vs. Waterford Wolverines

For the second straight game, Union Grove will face off against Waterford. The Broncos will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Union Grove came out on top against Waterford on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Broncos walked away with a 6-2 win over the Wolverines. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Ciara Hage spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emma Santarelli, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. McKenna Bones was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Union Grove's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Waterford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
