Soccer Game Preview: Travis vs. Pflugerville Connally

The Travis Rebels are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge the Pflugerville Connally Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Travis is headed into their match with Pflugerville Connally looking for a result a bit more satisfying than what they got in their season opener against Crockett on Thursday. Neither the Rebels nor the Cougars could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Pflugerville Connally challenged Lockhart on Friday. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Lions. That's two games in a row now that Pflugerville Connally have lost by exactly two goals.

Travis might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Pflugerville Connally when the teams last played back in January of 2018. Can the Rebels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
