The Guardian Christian Academy Royal Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on The New Community School with a sharp 72-51 win. Considering Guardian Christian Academy has won three games by more than 20 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Guardian Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tierre Brown, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Brown's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Kuhn, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Guardian Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for The New Community School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Guardian Christian Academy and Williamsburg Christian Academy will face off at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The New Community School will be home for the holidays to greet Tidewater Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
