Basketball Recap: Penncrest Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Penncrest can now relate to. They fell 58-53 to the Upper Moreland Bears on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lions came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Bears are ranked 139th).

Penncrest's defeat dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Upper Moreland, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-9.

Penncrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Upper Moreland, they will face off against Neumann-Goretti on Friday.
