Softball Recap: Amador Has No Trouble Against Edison

Amador had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Edison Vikings. The victory continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

Jessica Mittelstadt was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Mittelstadt was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Amador let Faith DelReal and Reilly Peckinpaugh run wild. DelReal scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Peckinpaugh scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Deliliah Earl, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI and one double.
