For the second straight game, Triton will face off against Culver Community. The Trojans will welcome the Cavaliers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Triton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

Triton came out on top against Culver Community on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fifth inning. The Trojans put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 14-3 victory. The Trojans have beaten the Cavaliers the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cavaliers has come to flipping the script.

Braxton Kaufman made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Kaufman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

In other batting news, Max Johnson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 11 matchups. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Vaca, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Triton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Triton now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Culver Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
