Basketball Recap: Wheeler Triumphs

Wheeler won the last time they faced Claude, and Abraham Sigala did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wheeler Mustangs claimed a resounding 79-50 win over the Claude Mustangs thanks in part to Sigala, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 21 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.5 rebounds per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Marshall Mcneil, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in January.

The victory got Wheeler back to even at 2-2. As for Claude, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Wheeler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-28 win against Miami on the 10th. As for Claude, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-42 loss against Amarillo HomeSchool F on the 10th.
