It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bellmont had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 53-26 win over the New Haven Bulldogs. The victory was nothing new for the Braves as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Despite the loss, New Haven still got an impressive performance from A'Lanah Webb, who went 6 for 13 en route to 14 points and seven boards. That was a full 53.8% of New Haven's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalease Shurelds, who had four points and five rebounds.

Bellmont's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for New Haven, their loss dropped their record down to 4-20.

Looking ahead, Bellmont and Norwell will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Norwell knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Bellmont likes a good challenge. New Haven does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
