Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boylan Catholic). They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Lutheran Crusaders on Monday. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Ryder McCauley, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Noah McDermott also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Boylan Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boylan Catholic will welcome North Boone at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Boylan Catholic 4, North Boone 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Lutheran, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Belvidere North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
