Softball Game Preview: Herndon Hornets vs. Washington-Liberty Generals

The Herndon Hornets will challenge the Washington-Liberty Generals at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Herndon and eight for Washington-Liberty.

Herndon might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-7 to Wakefield School, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Washington-Liberty's offense. They lost 11-0 to George C. Marshall on Monday.

Herndon's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Washington-Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Herndon beat Washington-Liberty 12-7 when the teams last played on April 1st. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
