Baseball Recap: Salmen Comes Up Short

Salmen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Slidell Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Friday.

Salmen's loss dropped their record down to 4-20-2. As for Slidell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salmen will square off against Booker T. Washington at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slidell, they will welcome Chalmette at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
