Football Recap: Brewer Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brewer lost against Cullman back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Patriots fell 24-11 to the Bearcats. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cole Drinkard threw for 117 yards and one touchdown. Cam Ballinger was his top target, picking up 60 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Corbin Raines rushed for 87 yards on only eight carries.

Brewer is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Cullman, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Brewer and Cullman could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Patriots will challenge Scottsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (235 vs. 67). Meanwhile, Cullman (ranked 138th) will meet Hartselle (ranked 22nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
