Basketball Recap: Glide Comes Up Short

Glide was the 55-39 winner over Days Creek when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Glide Wildcats took a 41-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Days Creek Wolves on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Wolves are ranked 70th).

Glide's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Days Creek, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Glide didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-25 victory against Oakridge on the 4th. As for Days Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-24 defeat against Oakland on the 4th.
