Casteel waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Perry Pumas 11-5. Considering the Colts have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Baylor Denny made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Connor Russell was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Ryne Barker, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Casteel was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Perry only posted a batting average of .250.

Casteel pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.7 runs. As for Perry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-6.

Casteel will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pumas: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
