Casteel waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Perry Pumas 11-5. Considering the Colts have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Baylor Denny made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Connor Russell was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Ryne Barker, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
