Basketball Recap: Greer Middle College Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Greer Middle College extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-4. They lost 63-40 to the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal. The Blazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bengal apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

As for Brashier Middle College Charter, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Brashier Middle College Charter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sam Hagan led the charge by going 6-for-11 on his way to 15 points and three steals. Hagan is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Andy Burdick, who posted 14 points and five boards.

Looking ahead, Greer Middle College will head out on the road to face off against Spartanburg Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brashier Middle College Charter, they will be playing at home against Chesnee at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
