Baseball Recap: Perrin-Whitt Takes a Loss

Perrin-Whitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-6 to the Era Hornets.

Case Lambert was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Keeney, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Perrin-Whitt's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Era, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perrin-Whitt will square off against Lindsay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. We've got a battle between Hornets coming up. Muenster's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Era's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
