Recap: Barbers Hill vs. Dayton
Barbers Hill won their last match against Dayton, and it was the same story this time around. Barbers Hill skirted past Dayton 31-28.
The match started off well for Barbers Hill, whose offense put up 17 first-half points. Meanwhile, Dayton couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 17-0 heading into the break. Barbers Hill almost let the game get away from them in the second half, but they had just enough oomph to take it. The win bumped their record up to 3-1. Dayton are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Barbers Hill take on Nederland at 7:30 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Barbers Hill skips in on three wins and Nederland on four. As for Dayton, they will face off against Crosby. Dayton stagger into the contest hobbled by four consecutive losses while Crosby skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins.
