Volleyball Recap: Vanguard Academy Takes a Loss

Vanguard Academy lost against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 3-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vanguard Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams work for it, especially in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 21-25, 27-25, 19-17.

Vanguard Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Vanguard Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Freedom Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams will square off against rival American Prep WV at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
