Soccer Game Preview: King vs. Valley View

The King Wolves will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Valley View Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

King is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Walnut on Saturday. King took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Walnut. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Mustangs are ranked 12th).

Meanwhile, Valley View kept a clean sheet against Moreno Valley on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0.

Valley View now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for King, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
