Volleyball Recap: Hernando Christian Academy Finds Home Court Redemption Against Angeline Academy of Innovation

There's no place like home for Hernando Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers by a score of 3-1 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Archers back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16, 13-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Angeline Academy of Innovation saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mia Root had 13 digs and four assists.

Hernando Christian Academy's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12. As for Angeline Academy of Innovation, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Hernando Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Seven Rivers Christian on the 7th. As for Angeline Academy of Innovation, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Nature Coast Tech on the 7th.
