Baseball Game Preview: Garrett Morgan Falcons vs. Columbia Raiders

Garrett Morgan is 0-4 against Columbia since April of 2023 but things could change on Saturday. The Falcons will square off against the Raiders at 11:00 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Rhodes hit Garrett Morgan with a four-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons fell just short of the Rams by a score of 7-6.

Firelands hit Columbia with a seven-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Raiders came up short against the Falcons, falling 11-1.

Columbia saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Duley, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Garrett Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-1.
