Volleyball Game Preview: Nipomo Titans vs. St. Joseph Knights + How To Watch

The Nipomo Titans will square off against the St. Joseph Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nipomo will be strutting in after a victory while St. Joseph will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Nipomo beat Santa Ynez 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 22-25, 25-23.

Nipomo found their leader in sophomore Tasi Maumausolo Matagi, who had 23 digs and one assist. Those 23 digs set a new season-high mark for Maumausolo Matagi.

Nipomo was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last three matches.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, St. Joseph's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Atascadero. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since September 9th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-17.

St. Joseph's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-8. As for Nipomo, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
