Softball Recap: Conroe Comes Up Short

Conroe lost to Oak Ridge back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the War Eagles, falling 10-4. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Conroe's record is now 19-9. As for Oak Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Conroe will take on rival Willis at 6:15 p.m. on the 10th. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3, the Wildkats 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Oak Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Grand Oaks at 6:15 p.m. on the 10th.
