Basketball Recap: Charles Page Piles Up the Points Against Bartlesville

There's no place like home for Charles Page, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bartlesville Bruins 72-42. The Sandites have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Charles Page to victory, but perhaps none more so than Deke Thompson, who posted 19 points. The contest was Thompson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Blake Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

Charles Page's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 33.6% in those games and 22% outside of them. As for Bartlesville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Charles Page is taking a road trip to challenge Jenks at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Charles Page is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.1 points per game this season. As for Bartlesville, they will welcome Sapulpa at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
