Volleyball Recap: Greenway Comes Up Short

After flying high against Moon Valley on Thursday, Greenway came back down to earth. The Demons fell 2-0 to the Eastmark Firebirds on Friday.

Jordan Mata paced Greenway's offense, picking up five kills. Mata got some help from Daniel Hoang and his seven assists.

Greenway's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Eastmark, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Greenway has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Shadow Ridge on the 27th. As for Eastmark, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Centennial on the 27th.
