Baseball Recap: Linden Comes Up Short

If Linden was riding high fresh off their 11-3 takedown of East Side on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 25-0 to the Dayton Bulldogs on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 17-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Linden has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's still a better percentage than their 5-16 record this season. As for Dayton, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12.

Linden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dayton, they will square off against South Plainfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
