Basketball Recap: Carlynton Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Carlynton had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 61-48 victory over the Washington Prexies on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-52 back in January.

Carlynton's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Carlynton and Washington could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Carlynton (ranked 554th) will meet Keystone Oaks (ranked 181st) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Washington will challenge McGuffey at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 279 places (535 vs. 256).
