Basketball Game Preview: Salmon River Savages vs. Tri-Valley Titans

The Salmon River Savages are taking a road trip to take on the Tri-Valley Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-Valley took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Salmon River, who comes in off a win.

Salmon River took a 22-point defeat the last time they faced off against Greenleaf Friends Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Savages had just enough and edged out the Grizzlies 58-55.

Meanwhile, Tri-Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-54 heartbreaker at the hands of Treasure Valley Classical Academy.

Salmon River's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Tri-Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Salmon River came up short against Tri-Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2025, falling 48-43. Can the Savages avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
