Grand Ledge had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Fenton Tigers. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Grand Ledge pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fenton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Ledge will venture away from home to challenge DeWitt at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fenton, they will head out to square off against Flushing at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
