Softball Recap: Memorial Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Memorial was riding high fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Frisco last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers on Saturday, falling 7-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trail Blazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in February.

Memorial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sanaa Moses, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Memorial's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-9. As for Lebanon Trail, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3-1.

Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-2 win against Centennial on the 1st. As for Lebanon Trail, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Liberty on the 1st.
