Coal City stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past the Reed-Custer Comets 11-1. Winning may never get old, but Coal City sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Bri Combes tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Makayla Henline was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Makenzie Henline, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Coal City is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Reed-Custer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.
